Location

Wonderboom Gate, Madikwe Game Reserve, North West

Directions

Travelling time from Gauteng to the lodge is approximately 3.5 hours. From Johannesburg head north on the N1 towards the N4 toll road. Take the N4 toll road, driving north west towards Rustenburg, Swartruggens, Groot Marico and Zeerust. Once in Zeerust turn right at the third stop street into President Street. There is a signpost on the left that says "Madikwe Game Reserve / Gaborone" and a First National Bank on the corner to the left.

Follow the R47 / R49 towards the reserve for approximately 95km. The first entrance to the reserve is Abjaterskop gate. Pass that gate and enter at the next gate - Wonderboom Gate is exactly 7km from the first gate. Once you have gone through the boom there is a Bush House. Signboard is situated about 1km further along the gravel road. Turn left in here and follow the road to the reception.

The rates include:

Accommodation, all meals, coffee and teas. Welcome drinks on arrival and on return from game drives.
Two game drives daily. Transfers to and from the airstrip.

The rates exclude:

All drinks from the bar, curio shop purchases, health and beauty treatments, use of telephone or internet, gate entrance fees / landing strip fees, laundry services and babysitting charges. Road shuttle transfers, flights in and out of the reserve.

Cancellation Policy

If a booking is cancelled after confirmation, the deposit will be forfeited.
In addition the following fees will be levied. The scale of charges expressed as a percentage of the total price is as follows:

Four weeks before arrival - 50% of full amount
Two weeks before arrival - 75% of full amount
One week or less - 100% of full amount

We require a 50% deposit within 7 days to secure the booking with the balance being payable thirty days before coming in to us.
