Child Policy

0 - 5 years old: accommodation FREE of charge when sharing with adult(s)
6 - 12 years old: pay an extra person supplement fee (per child) when sharing with adult(s)
13 - 18 years old: pay an extra person supplement fee (per child) when sharing with adult(s). When a child 13 - 18 years old is sharing with one adult; the per person sharing rate will be applicable for both persons. Should children 13 - 18 years old require their own room, the single rate will be applicable. Rates subject to change without prior notice

Cancellation Policy

The full amount is required within 48 hours from booking in order to guarantee your reservation. Rates are subject to change without prior notice. Should you choose not to guarantee your reservation, it may be released at anytime. The hotel will endeavor to contact you prior to releasing the reservation. To secure your reservation, please ensure your deposit amount is paid to us by no later the within 48 hours from booking.

In the event of notification of cancellation, the following cancellation fee shall apply on the full booking: 100% is refundable should your reservation be canceled within 48 hours confirmation of reservation. 100% is non-refundable should your reservation be canceled more than 48 hours from confirmation of reservation.

Get on the N2 Highway to Grahamstown. At the intersection to grahamstown, continue straight on the N10 towards Cradock. 11 km past Paterson turn right at the Alicedale sign and follow the road to Alicedale continue straight Bushman Sands Hotel, Golf Estate and Spa is signposted on your left.

From East London [240KM]

Take the N2 towards Port Elizabeth/ Grahamstown. Continue on the N2 towards Port Elizabeth, 20 km after Grahamstown, turn right on the R72 to Alicedale, upon reaching Alicedale continue straight, Bushman Sands Hotel, Golf Estate and Spa is signposted on your right.

From Cradock [165KM]

Take the N10 towards Port Elizabeth, travel over the olifantskop pass, turn left towards Alicedale approximately 11km before Paterson. (Please note there is a turn off to Alicedale before the pass, this is not recommended) upon reaching Alicedale continue straight Bushman Sands Hotel, Golf Estate and Spa are signposted on your left.

By Air

Shamwari Game Reserve, 20 minutes from Alicedale, is equipped with a private landing strip. Air charters can be arranged with registered charter companies or private aircraft. Prior arrangements must be made with Bushman Sands for landing and transfer to Alicedale.
