Turn off at Middelburg. Middelburg to Stofberg. Stofberg to Steelpoort. From Steelpoort take the second turnoff (to the right) to Lydenburg and follow the road till you see the sign (to the right) to Didingwe River Lodge. Follow the signs from there.
When in doubt, use the GPS for Steelpoort, roughly 50km from your destination type in "Didingwe River Lodge" and the GPS will take you directly to the gate of the Lodge.
The road via the picturesque town Dullstroom is also a option:
From Johannesburg, take the N4 to the North. Turn off at Belfast. Belfast to Dulstroom. Through Dullstroom to Lydenburg. 10 km from Lydenburg turn off (left) to Roossenekal . After 15 km turn off (right) to Sekhukhune. At the sign to Didingwe River Lodge, turn off to the left, follow the signs from there.
Didingwe River Lodge is the ideal base from which to explore the abundant attractions nearby. The Kruger National Park is only 1.5 hours drive away, and the historic town of Pilgrim's Rest and the Blyde River Canyon are close by. Explore the Echo Caves. Swadini and the Reptile Park, Kapama Cheetah Project and lots more can be explored on a 1 day tour and then return to Didingwe River Lodge for a sundowner in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
