From Nelspruit (45 minutes)

Take R40 North to White River (passing straight through Rocky Drift). In White River, at the first set of traffic lights in the town itself (with White River Toyota ahead of you), turn left, following signs to Hazyview and Wildtuin / Kruger National Park.

At the next traffic light, turn right - with the playing fields on your left. Cross over the next set of traffic lights and then at the final set, with a Caltex garage on your right, turn left on the R40 for Hazyview. Continue on this road for about 45km, and then you will come to a T-junction. Turn left to Hazyview and travel a further 2km, to the second set of traffic lights.

Turn right into Portia Shabangu Road towards Kruger Gate. Continue straight over the first stop intersection (shopping centre on your right hand side). You will pass Kruger Park Lodge (KPL) on your left hand side. After KPL at the four-way crossing turn left into Albatross Street. Continue along Albatross past the video shop and Bush Burgers Take Away. Turn left at stop sign at the end of Albatross into Tarentaal Road. Take the first right into Stormvoel. Follow the road down the hill as it curves to the right. At the next stop sign, turn left into Ooievaar. Turn left at the second road, into Gannet Street.
