Follow the N3 to Villiers, and then take the R26 (Frankfort, Reitz, Bethlehem) turn-off and keep driving on that road to Bethlehem. In Bethlehem, turn right at the first intersection after the Wimpy. Keep on this road until you reach the robot with the Kentucky Fried Chicken on your left. Turn left and keep going out of Bethlehem (R26). Continue driving for about 50km to Fouriesburg. Bypass Fouriesburg and drive about another 50km to Ficksburg. Turn left to Ficksburg and take the second road to the right into Ficksburg. This is McCabe Street. Drive straight on until you get to the 3rd stop street. This is a four-way stop where Fontein Street crosses McCabe Street. The police station is on the left hand corner, McBride’s House is on the opposite right hand corner, and The Lemon Cottage on the right hand corner. Turn right into Fontein Street and The Green Acorn is situated on the 3rd property on the left hand side, No. 7 Fontein Street.
From Durban

From Clocolan / Bloemfontein
From Bloemfontein take the R26 route bypassing ThabaNchu, Ladybrand and Clocolan. From Clocolan, one needs to drive about 20km to reach Ficksburg. When entering Ficksburg you will be in McCabe Street. Drive straight on until you get to the 2nd four-way stop where Fontein Street crosses McCabe Street. The police station will be on the opposite right hand corner, McBride’s House on the left hand corner, and The Lemon Cottage on the opposite left hand corner. Turn left into Fontein Street.
