Cancellation Policy

Having confirmed your booking we have concluded a verbal contract and we are holding your accommodation exclusively for you whilst denying other enquiries the opportunity to occupy and hence the prospect of re-letting it.

Cancellation often involves our not being able to re-let the accommodation at all and there is obviously an economic cost involved. A Deposit / Travel Agency Voucher / Company Order or Credit Card Number serves as an incentive for the guest to fulfill his/her obligations under this contract. No Refunds for Early Departures. We take no Responsibility for any inconveniences caused through acts of God and any Load-shedding or Electrical Interruptions caused by Eskom although we do have a back-up generator for these circumstances.

Take N3 and follow the Villiers Turn-off. Turn Left on bridge. At 4-way Stop turn right. Travel approximately 67km and then turn left to Vrede / Memel. 20km further turn right to Memel / Newcastle. 100km further at 3-way Robot - McDonalds on the left - turn right. Travel through town for approximately 2km. 200m after Robot at Black Rock Casino turn right - see signboards with the name: Haggards Hilldrop B&B Guest Lodge. 1,4km up the road - we are 3rd B&B on the left - Number 15.

From JHB via Standerton / Volksrust:

Take N11 and pass first exit to Newcastle CBD / Arcellor Mittal. Drive straight until you reach the 2nd robot on the N11. See our Signboards. Turn right. 200m further turn left. Travel 1,4km up the road and we are the 3rd B&B on the left - Number 15.

From Durban:

From the N3 take the Ladysmith turnoff to the N11. Take N11 all the way to Newcastle. At 1st Robot on the N11 keep left into Allen Street. 200m further turn left at our Signboard - Haggards Hilldrop B&B Guest Lodge. Drive 1,4km up the road and we will be the 3rd B & B on the left at Number 15.
