Location Off the R522 to Vivo, Nearby Makhado (Louis Trichardt), Limpopo
Take the M1 North out of Johannesburg. Get onto the N1 North going towards Pietersburg (this turn-off is just before Pretoria, need to look out for the sign). It is not long after the Shell Ultra City. At Pietersburg follow signs N1 to Makhado (Louis Trichardt). Take the N1 to Makhado (Louis Trichardt). At Makhado (Louis Trichardt), the first main four-way stop will be Rissik Street or the R522 to Vivo.
Turn left into Rissik Street (the BP garage that you will come to on the left is the last fill up spot).Take Rissik Street all the way out of Makhadi (Louis Trichardt) and travel for approximately 33km outside of town. You will cross over a railway line and then carry on for 5km and then you will cross over the Sand River Bridge. After the bridge, 300m down the road you will see our sign on the right hand side. Carry on along the dirt road. After 3.5km you will pass a farmhouse on your left. After the farmhouse, a few hundred metres up ahead, the road forks and you must keep to the right. There are signs to guide you. Follow the road up the mountain to our gate and from there to our reception area.
Note: The last 3km takes you up a relatively steep incline to the entrance to Leshiba at the top of the mountain. The road is not suitable for vehicles with a limited ground clearance. We can arrange a "mountain transfer" at an extra cost. No transfer will be offered without prior arrangement directly with the lodge.
