All accommodation rates quoted are per person per night sharing.
Single accommodation attracts a supplement of an additional 50% of the quoted tariff (Wherever possible, this single supplement will not be charged).The public rates are quoted in South African Rand, whilst payment may be made in any international currency.
There are two daily scheduled flights to Madikwe Game Reserve from Johannesburg.
Air transfers and road transfers can be arranged.
Rates include:
Luxury Accommodation in a double thatched suite
Breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, teas, coffee and cakes
Lunch is included on day of arrival and day of departure
House wines, local beers and spirits, soft drinks and mineral waters
An evening and early morning game drive (Spotlights are used after dark)
Game walks accompanied by an experienced ranger
Transfers to and from the airstrip in Madikwe Game Reserve
Tariffs are quoted inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at 14% where applicable

Terms and Conditions
Cancellation PolicyAll bookings are subject to Makanyane Safari Lodge cancellation policy which is days prior to arrival.
90 to 46 days - 25%
45 to 29 days - 50%
28 days or less - 100%
For all bookings a 25% deposit is required within 7 days of making the reservation.
Please note that a reservation is not secure until a deposit is received. Makanyane reserves the right to automatically release any accommodation being held where the required deposit has not been received within the stated period. All rates quoted are subject to change without notice.
Booking information, such as any special dietary requirements, allergies or medical conditions, guest’s contact number (if possible) and the estimated time of arrival at the lodge needs to be communicated well in advance of arrival at the lodge.
Group PolicyFor 9 to 15 full paying guests one guest pays 50% of the rate.
For over 15 full paying guests the 16th is accommodated free of charge.
Pilots and GuidesA reduced rate will apply. Staff accommodation will be offered should suite accommodation not be available. This rate is for accommodation and meals only and does not include game viewing.
TransfersThere are two scheduled daily flight between Johannesburg International Airport and Madikwe Game Reserve. The first flight leaves at 10:00 from Johannesburg and arrives in Madikwe at approximately 11:00. The return flight leaves Madikwe at approximately 11:30 and arrives in Johannesburg at approximately 12:30. The second flight leaves at 13:00 from Johannesburg and arrives in Madikwe at approximately 14:00. The return flight leaves Madikwe at approximately 14:30 and arrives in Johannesburg at approximately 15:30.
Transfers between the Madikwe Airstrip and the lodge through the game reserve are complimentary. Charter flights can also be arranged.
Road transfers can be arranged from Johannesburg International Airport to Makanyane Safari Lodge and visa versa. (The drive takes about 3½ hours).
Game Drives
A private game viewing vehicle can be arranged, subject to availability.
