From Dundee take the road to Vryheid (R33). Measured from the last traffic light in Dundee (on the Vryheid route) it is 5.5km before the turn-off for Nqutu / Ulundi / Melmoth (R68). Travel on the R68 for 26.5km until you reach the Rorke's Drift turn-off. Turn right on this gravel road.

Continue for 7.4km until you reach the Rorke's Drift / Dundee T-junction. Continue through the junction slightly to the right on D571. Then follow the Nxala Ranch directions for 6.2km up to the lodge.
