General Information
Rates are based on a minimum of 3 nights stay. Any booking less than 3 nights, we charge per person.
Admin / levy fee: R650 Maids may be hired at R200 per day. Incidental fee: R650 no-refundable. R200 once off for trailer parking... establishment to be informed when booking is made.
R650 Breakage deposit to be paid in cash on arrival. (Low Season, Mid Season) R1000 to be paid in cash on arrival. (High Season) TV to be left on channel 3 on departure.. or breakage deposit will be forfeited.
Guests to bring own towels, toiletries and cleaning materials. Bedding and linen supplied for beds only. Not sleeper couches... Extra blankets to be brought by guest in cooler weather. Cottages are to be left in the same clean state and dishes to be washed and packed away. Beds to be stripped and linen folded and placed on the end of each bed. Laundry services are available in Margate. Dstv. (bring own decoder, smart card, remote and cables)
Smoking is not allowed inside the cottages. Only paying residents to sleep in the cottages. Visitors not allowed to park in the grounds. No over-night visitors. Penality of R300 per person will be levied. No drunkeness and unruly behavour will be tolerated.

Excess vehicles not allowed. Only Unit Number 1 is allowed parking for 2 vehicles. Regret no buses or 12 seater vehicles permitted. (they are unable to get up to the parking area)
Only residents are permitted to use facilities. No overnight visitors permitted. Penalty of R300 will be charged.

Take the South Coast Road after Pietermaritzburg, and drive about 100km. Take the Margate/Uvongo off-ramp, keep left. At T-junction turn right into Marine Drive. Travel through Manabe and on entering Margate, take the first road right after the Sasol Garage (There is a sign-board saying "Sea-Spray Self Catering") and the address is No. 46 Hibiscus Road. This is on the right hand side as you drive on top of the hill. You will go through a 3 way give way street, drive down a steep lane and 100 meters to the right you will see thatched cottages. Ring at the gate.
