Arrivals and Departures

NB: PLEASE ENSURE CHECK IN BY 11H30

Scheduled boat transfers leave from Sibuya's reception in Kenton-on-Sea, once daily, at 12h00 (noon). Guests are requested to check in at reception (39 Eastbourne Road, Kenton-on-Sea) at least half an hour before the boat departure time (travel times: PE airport allow 100 mins - EL airport allow 120 mins)

For departing guests, scheduled boat transfers return to reception at 11h00 daily to allow for check out and departure by 11h00. Boat transfers at alternative times may be arranged in advance at an additional charge.

Accommodation Terms and Conditions

• Infants can be provided with a camp bed on request and at no additional charge
• Children up to 12 may share with their parents or minders, maximum two children per tented room
• Children 12 years and older count as adults for billing purposes, whether or not they share with parents or minders
• Owing to their duration, standard game drives are not suitable for children under six years of age unless a private vehicle is booked for a nominal charge
• Please inform Sibuya Reservations in advance of any special dietary requirements
• Management reserves the right to make periodic adjustments to the published rates
• Airport transfers are handled by accredited transporters and can be arranged by Sibuya Reservations
• Rates exclude discretionary gratuities, non-scheduled boat transfers, airport transfers, laundry, premium beverages and any other items not listed as inclusive

Payment and Cancellation Policy

• Bookings made more than 28 days prior to the arrival date will be secured only on receipt of a deposit of 50% of the total amount due.
• If the required deposit is not received within 48 hours, the booking will be released. Payment of the balance due must be received at least 28 days prior to the arrival date failing which the booking will be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.
• Bookings made within 28 days of the arrival date will be secured only on receipt of the full amount due.
• Cancellations need to be in writing and should be sent by email or fax. Cancellations made more than 28 days before the arrival date will incur a fee of 25% of the total amount due. Cancellations made 28 days to 8 days prior to the arrival date will incur a fee of 50% of the total amount due. Cancellations made less than 8 days prior to the arrival date will incur a fee of 100% of the amount due.
• It is recommended that guests take out travel insurance against cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.

On the R72 from the Port Elizabeth direction, pass Boesmanriversmond / Bushmans River and then turn right into KENTON-ON-SEA. Or traveling from East London and Port Alfred direction of the R72, turn left into KENTON-ON-SEA. This is Kariega Road. Follow this road (Kariega Road) down to the bottom of the hill. (In front of you will be the river with a public car park and boat jetty.) Turn left at the last road, into Eastbourne Road. Our Reception and Office and Secure Parking is at No. 39 Eastbourne Road. You will check in at the reception and park your car here. You will be taken up the River by boat to Sibuya Game Reserve.
